Our Story
As a non-profit cultural and art space opened in 2023, Quick Art Space aims to be dynamic and sustainable. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, QAS serves as a meeting place with events such as exhibitions, workshops, talks, experimental theatre and performances, and undertakes the mission of supporting artists and making them visible.
Quick Art Space, a Maher Group institution, uses Quick Tower’s lobby area including the square thereof, an award-winning architectural structure.
The idea of transforming the building’s lobby into a non-profit art space was born as the holding moved to Quick Tower on March 1, 2021. As of 2023, Maher Holding, which continues its activities with the motto of change, transformation, interaction, has rolled up its sleeves to make Quick Tower a venue for interdisciplinary events and meetings. The process kicked off with Nergis Abıyeva, art historian, writer and curator, joining Quick Tower’s team to manage art projects.
Quick Tower was designed by HPP Architekten, founded by German architect Gerhard G. Feldmeyer, and the construction of the building was completed in December 2015. Quick Art Space was inspired by the building’s principles of sustainability, livability and functionality.
